📢Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration for all new to CISD students will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd from 5:00–6:30 PM on the Elementary side.
⭐This is for students entering Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten who did not attend Pre-K 3 or Pre-K 4 at CISD last year.

🚌✨ Our Pre-K 4 Head Start students had an amazing time exploring CurioCity in Abilene last Friday! From hands-on fun to big smiles, it was a day full of curiosity, creativity, and learning through play! 🎨🔬💡

CHS sent 11 Fccla Chapter members to compete at the State Conference in Dallas over the weekend. Although we came up short for advancing to Nationals in a few categories, the students still did a great job and represented CISD well! Our members are ready to review their rubrics and the constructive criticism to prepare for next year. ❤️🖤🐺
They faced tough competition from all around Texas, but Lilly Boyd, Jackson Redwine and Karah Shrode still placed in the top 5 of their categories and were recognized at the Awards Ceremony!⭐

Next Tuesday and Wednesday, April 22nd and 23rd, we’re inviting YOU to come and “Chalk the Walk” to inspire and encourage our students as they prepare for the Math STAAR test! 🧠📚
Chalk will be provided at the two front entrances, bus lane, and teacher entrance at CES/CMS. Feel free to write motivational messages for individual students or for all our testers! 💬🖍
Just come anytime on either of those evenings. The chalk will be out Tuesday after school, so stop by and add your words of encouragement. 💪✨
Please note, we ask that students don't come with parents, as we want to keep it a surprise for them! 😁
