We’re excited to welcome Region 14 Curriculum Consultant, Amy McIntire, to give parents an overview of what students are learning this year. She will also discuss new curriculum updates, STAAR testing, and share practical ways families can support their children’s success at home and in the classroom.

Our Principles of Ag students from Ms. Saenz & Ms. Hinson’s classes had a blast at Loraine High School! 🤠💙 They learned the basics of FFA 🌾 and competed in Ag-Olympic games 🏃♀️🎯🌽

This form allows counselors to meet with students about any counseling needs, including (but not limited to):
✔️ Creating schedules
✔️ College applications
✔️ FAFSA
School counselors will continue to provide the same great services as before — but consent must be on file.

In July 2024, the CISD Board dedicated a building to Mrs. Frances Godwin, honoring her 30 years in education , 29 of those spent shaping the lives of students right here in Colorado ISD. 💖
This last week, the new signage was proudly installed by our CHS Welding students , Adolfo Duenez, Marcus Saldivar, Oscar Delgado, Israel Sanchez, and Sammy Calvillo, under the guidance of their teacher, Mr. Teddy Martinez. 🔥🛠️ His support and encouragement give students opportunities to showcase their skills in meaningful ways.
The Frances Godwin Center, next to the Colorado ISD Boardroom, now stands as a tribute to Mrs. Godwin’s lasting legacy and as a reminder that we are Better Together – Building a Legacy of Excellence. 🐺✨
