⏰ Teachers have already shared party times with families.
Thank you for your cooperation as we work together to keep our campuses safe and welcoming for everyone! 🐺❤️

Each team made gains in the rankings:
• Team 24858 (Big Ounce) moved from 10th to 7th
• Team 23733 climbed from 14th to 12th
• Team 23616 jumped from 21st to 13th
All three teams continue to advance and are working hard to position themselves for a spot at the regional meet. To qualify, teams must finish in the top five in February or be selected as an alliance partner by one of the top five teams, and our Wolves are in striking distance.
With every competition, students are sharpening their building and programming skills, putting in extra work at home and learning from each meet.
📍 Next Meet: January 17
🕗 8:00 a.m.
📍 Tank Logix Center – Odessa
🏆 Big Tournament: February 17
We are incredibly proud of how these students represent CISD.

🐺🏀GOOD LUCK TODAY: CMS WOLVES AND LADY WOLVES🏀🐺

CES families, be on the lookout! Tomorrow, teachers will be sending home information about our Winter Reading Challenge.
This challenge is designed to encourage families to read together during the winter months and help build strong early literacy skills that set the foundation for lifelong learning.
🎉 Why it matters:
Reading daily helps children:
• Build vocabulary and comprehension
• Strengthen early literacy skills
• Develop a love for books and learning
We encourage families to make reading a cozy part of their winter routine, before bed, after dinner, or anytime that works best for your family.
Thank you for helping us grow strong readers, one page at a time! 🐺📚

December 12, 2025
This morning, a kindergarten student brought a training device to school. The device is non-functional, it cannot fire, cannot accept ammunition, and has no working trigger mechanism.
CISD staff acted immediately upon discovery. The situation was quickly contained, and all appropriate procedures were followed. At no time were students or staff in danger.
Support and resources were provided to the students involved, and families were notified in accordance with district protocols.
The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. We appreciate the vigilance of our campus personnel and the continued partnership of our families as we work together to maintain a secure learning environment.

Over the past month, we had members on the road, getting in their practice for the upcoming Mitchell County Stock Show!
First being the Snyder Rabbit Jackpot. Bridgett Ostrander, Claudia Chambliss, Caroline Morris, and Addison Rivera put several rabbits on the table that day and ALL finished the day with backdrop pictures. (Bridgett Ostrander even had to leave early to make her barrel racing competition)
Second being The 3rd Annual Battle of the Colorado Rabbit Jackpot where members Addison Rivera, Claudia Chambliss, Caroline Morris, and Bridgett Ostrander who had the opportunity to get in one last practice run before County at our very own Mitchell County Ag Barns.
Be sure to keep up with these brilliant and determined students!

‼️In class we’ve been learning about different types of cows, milking vs. meat-producing breeds, and the many variations within each, so this tour really brought everything to life. We were able to see robotic milking in action, T & K Dairy was the first dairy not only in our area, but even across other states to use this technology.
Students also got to pet cows and even touch newborn heifers. It was an incredible, hands-on experience that helped us understand exactly where our milk and dairy products come from.
🙏A huge thank-you to the Collier family for welcoming us and giving us such a memorable visit!
