🌺🌻The Area 2 FFA Floriculture contest is in the books. We sat on pins and needles for a little bit today at Tarleton in Stephenville in anticipation since we have added some newbies. We still have work to do but I am proud to say, they didn't let me down. Their studying paid off. These kids earned a 4th place, a plaque, and are STATE BOUND! ‼️‼️
🐺This was an extra special win for Ms. Morris as the kids looked back and learned their team will be the 15th Floriculture team back to back that she has helped qualify for state.

🐺The past couple of weeks have gone quickly! As Colorado FFA has started Area contest competition we don't want to forget to highlight the opportunities that helped them prepare. 🐺Students have traveled to Tarleton in Stephenville, West Texas A&M University in Canyon, and Angelo State University in San Angelo as well as a few online contests to better their identification and evaluation skills in floriculture, nursery landscape, horse, vet, and livestock. Colorado FFA veterans increased their knowledge to better their scores and helped mentor their new teammates ti excel. And new judging members learned the contests, worked some kinks out, and several surprised even themselves with the amount of improvement and scoring capabilities. 🐺Judging is another term we in the ag world used for career development events. Yes that is contests that give us a real world glimpse into that particular area of agriculture. These kids have taken on the challenge and set goals for continuing to be better! Great attitude for a wolf pack! 🐺More to come from these teams: Vet - Chloe, Kylie, and Dallas (District placing 3rd, Area placing 20th) Horse - Bridgett, Austyn, and Harley Floriculture - Lucy, Kymani, Marley, and Kaelyn Nursery Landscape - Alejandra, Lilli, Raegan, and Whitney Livestock - Ryland, Matt, Tyler, and Raiden

📚 STAAR & STAAR EOC Testing is Here! 📝
It’s that time of year — students across CES, CMS, and CHS are getting ready to show what they know on the STAAR and STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) exams.
✅ For CES/CMS:
Students may bring a healthy snack for testing days, but please remember — this is not an all-day grazing event. Campuses will allow a quick 5-minute snack break, and then all snacks will be put away.
Parents, one of the best ways to support your child is by making sure they get a good night’s sleep and eat a nutritious breakfast before testing!
✅ For CHS:
STAAR EOC testing is just as important for our high school students. A strong night of rest and a solid breakfast are essential to help them stay focused and perform at their best.
🐺Let’s continue to support our students and staff as they tackle this important part of the school year. You've got this, Wolf Nation! ‼🙌‼

🐶🐈🐴🐮🐰 Area II Vet Science Contest – April 7 at ASU
📢Shoutout to Dallas Davis, Kylie Egan, and Chloe Santana for doing an incredible job at the Area II Vet Science Contest yesterday at ASU!
What makes this even more impressive? The tremendous growth they’ve shown since their very first competition earlier this year. From WTAMU to now, these students have put in the work and it shows.🙌
We’re proud of their commitment, progress, and the way they represented Wolf Nation! 🐺💪

‼ Happy National Assistant Principals Week ‼
🐺Wolf Nation is proud to celebrate Mr. Wilson at CHS and Mrs. Finley at CES/CMS — two outstanding leaders helping build a legacy of excellence every single day. Your dedication, heart, and support make a lasting impact on our students, staff, and schools.
❤🖤❤ Thank you for being the calm in the chaos, the strength behind the scenes, and the reason so many of our Wolves succeed. We appreciate all you do! 🐺
