As a freshman, Jai’Anah stepped onto the track at Regionals and finished 3rd in the 200m. For most, that’s where the season ends. For her, it wasn’t.
She ran a 25.64, a time that held up against the best in the field. When all 2A regional results across Texas were compared, her time ranked 8th overall, earning her a spot at the State Track Meet in Austin.
She’ll enter State as the only freshman competing in the 2A 200m, May 14-15!🐺🔥
