The students were grateful for the opportunity to practice before they head to state next week, and were eager to hear feedback to help them improve! The chapter members are working hard to prepare for the tough competition they’ll face and are ready to make CISD proud! ‼️

💲 Last week, Mrs. Wulfjen’s classes worked on “Teen Centers” where they had the opportunity to test their knowledge about growing up! These centers ranged from knowing the format of a social security number to completing a job/housing application 📰 and working on an elevator speech 🗣 for career fairs. Students also had to address an envelope, write a check and give a professional handshake🤝! They had fun rotating through the centers and figuring out what they knew and what they needed to work on!

Mrs. Casebeer’s kindergarten students turned learning into a fun, interactive experience! Each student took a turn wearing a word on a headband while their classmates helped sound it out. They wrote each letter as they heard the sounds, then checked their work with the class before reading the word together. A hands-on way to build confidence and strong reading skills! 📚✏️
