Colorado ISD Statement Regarding Rattlesnake Incident at Middle School
This morning, a small rattlesnake was discovered inside the Colorado Middle School Library. The snake was quickly and safely removed, and animal control was contacted to ensure the area was secure.
We want to reassure our community that the situation is under control, and no students or staff were harmed. Out of an abundance of caution, teachers are reminding students of all ages not to touch snakes or any unfamiliar animals they may encounter.
The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping us maintain a safe learning environment.

If you have not already done so, we kindly ask that you take a few minutes to complete the Chromebook Agreement Form for your student. This form is required in order for students to use a Chromebook for the school year.
Your cooperation helps us ensure that devices are properly managed and that students are able to use them responsibly for learning.
The form can be found on our website, www.ccity.esc14.net, under "Menu" and "Colorado Middle School".
