Big Wolf Welcome 🐺 to Ms. Mata, our Art teacher! 🎨
My name is Kelsey Mata, and I’m from Anson, Texas. I graduated college from McMurry University with a bachelors degree in Fine Arts. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my dogs and friends!

Seventh grade scientists review for a test by doing an escape room.

6th Grade participated in a cross curricular activity today in class. The students are studying about using observations and descriptive language in their writing. They are beginning to study Properties of Matter in Science. They moved to different stations making observations of objects such as sponges, cubes, mirrors, different types of balls, sugar, salt, sand, candy, and gold fish crackers. They used their five senses to describe the objects in complete sentences. The students discussed how they could use their five senses to add descriptive details to their writing.
