Plays will start at 1 and run back to back, CHS OAP will perform The Diviners by Jim Leonard Jr. as the final show of the day which should take place around 6 PM! Come out and watch all of their fantastic work!

Hey Wolf Nation! 🐺 Due to weather-related construction delays, the CMS Lone Wolf Relays on February 25 and the CHS Lone Wolf Relays on February 27 are canceled. The CHS Relays are currently TBD—we’ll keep you posted!

We hoped to play today but Mother Nature had her own plans. Our varsity game vs. Midland Legacy will NOT be played today; we hope to reschedule for a later date that works for both teams.

🐺❤February Students Of Character - Trustworthiness ❤🐺
🚨 Robotics and Wind Energy Update 🚨
This past Saturday, all of our robotics teams traveled to Midland, TX, to compete for a chance to advance to the State Championship! We had 4 teams at the event (one team couldn’t make it due to illness) but we still managed to bring all 5 robots. Our students worked incredibly hard, solving problems on the fly and helping each other. They also presented their tri-folds, digital engineering workbooks, and paper engineering notebooks. The judges were impressed with our progress and encouraged us to keep up the great work!
Here’s how we finished: 🤖 19th, 21st, 22nd, and 24th out of all the teams competing. We are so proud of how our students represented our school and community. 👏
Next up: Our Wind Energy team heads to TSTC on February 26th to compete for the State Championship and a chance to go to the World competition in Phoenix, AZ! 🌍💨 They’ve been working hard, fabricating their wind turbines, creating 4-minute videos, and preparing their engineering notebooks. They’re also practicing for surprise challenges and perfecting their presentation skills for the judges.
If we make it through, we’ll head to Phoenix at the end of the school year. If not, we’ll have another shot in Lubbock on March 28th. Only the top two teams move on, so it’s all on the line‼🐺‼
