Colorado FFA members had another busy day on Sunday as several attended the Hilltop Classic in Sweetwater with their goats. Bridgett Ostrander, Arianna and Alana Martinez, Lanee Castro, Caroline Morris, Lyla Ramon. It was a great day of learning for all. We learned how sensitive animals are and that they respond to people's emotions and how to fine-tune our animals when you get them set up. Some kids participated in showmanship, others just showed their animals in Ring A and/or Ring B. Over all much was learned for corrections for the next show.

Every dollar raised helps fund weekend food support for our students, so every helping hand truly makes a difference. ❤️

📚 That evening, we invite parents to join us for a Parent Meeting at 6:00 PM in the CHS Auditorium.
All high school students will receive a book connected to the presentation, which shares a family’s story of loss and awareness surrounding drug overdose.

Colorado FFA members Brooklyn Rivera and Lilli Carrillo had a little time in the ring today at the White Buffalo Jackpot in Snyder. They both showed their York pigs and though they didn't take 1st, they had a great day of learning and putting their animals in a unique and unfamiliar environment to aide in social conditioning of their animals and continuing to better their personal show ring skills.
