🐺Last Wednesday was letter L day for our Kindergarteners. Our students wrote thank you letters to some of the staff who love and support them in many different ways.🐺
🐺⭐Last week our 5th and 6th grade enjoyed a day at Ruddick Park as a treat and celebration from their teachers for working so hard on STAAR!
🐺Thank you to all the parents who donated their time along with snacks for us! It was an amazing day of fun.

Honoring Visal 💙
As we gather to remember and celebrate the life of Visal, we want to share a few important details with our community:
🔹 Visitation with the family will begin at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 9th, followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM, both held at the Kiker-Seale Chapel.
🔹 Please join us in wearing blue tomorrow to honor Visal’s memory.
🔹 If you feel led to give, please consider donating to the account set up at Big Spring Education Federal Credit Union to help with any additional expenses the family may face.
💙 No further donations are being accepted at Kiker-Seale, as all funeral expenses have been paid in full.

Unfortunately, due to limited space in our gyms, parents will not be allowed to attend. Each grade level will rotate through during their specials times and then back to class.

🐺🖤💙❤As we celebrate School Nurse Day, we want to take a moment to honor the amazing women who take care of us every day at Colorado ISD.
Nurse Graham is often the quiet strength behind some of our most meaningful and challenging moments. With grace, gentle care, and a steady presence, she supports our school family in ways both big and small — from offering a bandage or a much-needed hug to our littlest wolves, to standing strong when it matters most. She’s more than our nurse she’s a constant, a calm, and a source of comfort. We are deeply grateful for the compassion and dedication she brings to Wolf Nation each day.
Mrs. Brown, our CNA at CHS, is another vital part of the team, always providing the kind of care that lets our students know they’re in good hands. Whether it’s offering medical assistance or a kind word, she’s always there for our students and staff.
And we can’t forget Nurse Woody, whose partnership with Mitchell County Hospital District makes a lasting impact. As the instructor of our student CNA program, she’s helping shape the next generation of healthcare professionals right here at CISD.
To Nurse Graham, Mrs. Brown, and Nurse Woody, thank you for everything you do. Your kindness, care, and strength are appreciated more than words can express. You are the heartbeat of Wolf Nation. 🐺🖤💙❤
