CISD Families, After careful consideration and information from the National Weather Service briefing, Colorado ISD will be closed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. While temperatures have risen and conditions are improving, remaining ice and the potential for thawing and refreezing continue to create hazardous road conditions. Out of an abundance of caution and in the best interest of our Wolves and our community, we are prioritizing safety and avoiding unnecessary risk for students, staff, and families. We understand that canceling school creates challenges, and we truly appreciate your patience and flexibility as we continue to focus on keeping Wolf Nation safe. CISD Families, Based on guidance from the National Weather Service and dangerous winter weather and road conditions, Colorado ISD will NOT have school on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Icy roads, reduced visibility, and freezing temperatures continue to make travel unsafe across our area. For families’ peace of mind, this closure will NOT require a make-up day on the district calendar. The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority.
