🌟Our next CTE spotlight is Mrs. Follis! Read what she has to say about her experience and the classes she teaches at CHS:
My name is Tia Follis and I’ve been teaching family and consumer science classes for 8 years, I’ve spent all 8 years at CHS. I was very active in FCCLA in high school and when I started looking for a teaching job I jumped on the opportunity to teach FCS in the best school in Texas! I am the adviser for FCCLA and TAFE which gives the students amazing opportunities to travel, give back to the community, and learn about future careers. CHS is currently implementing some new programs in the education pathway and there are exciting things coming up in the next few years! The classes I teach include:
-Human Growth & development, child development, principles of education and training, principles of human services, family and community services.
