🌟Our CTE Teacher Spotlight today is Irene Armstrong! Here is what Ms. Armstrong says about her CTE courses and herself!
I currently teach Principles of Technology 1 using code.org curriculum. Code.org uses teaching modules to help students learn computer coding inside simulators and we meet three times a week online with software engineer experts in the field through Google Meet. It is exciting to see students when they get a new concept and they make their coding work.
I have also taught 6th and 8th Technology Applications, 8th Careers Investigations, Projects Based Learning, National History Day, and World-Texas-US History classes. I currently teach Principles of Technology I, Project Based Learning and 8th US History. I love seeing the connections students make between past, present and future. Go WOLVES!
