‼Your Greatest Asset = YOU‼
At CES/CMS, students will have a "Leader in Me - Sharpen the Saw Celebration" every 6 weeks on the 5th Friday.
To participate, students must have 2 or fewer excused absences (with a doctor's note), no disciplinary referrals, and have completed all their work for every class.
This celebration is based on the Leader in Me Habits, specifically, "Sharpen the Saw", which means taking care of yourself by maintaining a balanced program for self-renewal in four areas: physical, social/emotional, mental, and spiritual. By attending classes, exhibiting positive behavior, and being responsible for their work, we hope to celebrate many students' achievements. #ThisISWolfNation

Take a look at Mrs. Hammond's 6th grade RLA class enjoying their learning experience. Currently, they are studying the traits of exceptional writers, with one such quality being the ability to show rather than tell in one's writing. To demonstrate this, the students engaged in a game of charades, showcasing the art of showing through actions rather than just telling. #ThisIsWolfNation

The 2023 State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR). STAAR grades 3 through 8 are now available to view via the TEA Family Portal. These results will show where a child is meeting grade-level expectations and where they may need additional support for the upcoming school year.
Follow these easy steps to access your child's results:
1. Log in to the Texas Assessment Management System's portal at TexasAssessment.gov.

3. Then, enter the student's date of birth and click "Sign On".
IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE UNIQUE ACCESS CODE:
1. Click on "How do I look up my access code?" (located at the bottom of the blue square on the screen)
2. In the new screen that appears, enter the requested information in the appropriate fields:
• TSDS ID# (state-assigned number)

‼CES Parents:
🐺Parents of Pre-K through 4th graders must have car tags visible on their rear view mirrors to pick up their children. If you don't have a car tag, come to the CES office by 11:00 a.m. tomorrow morning to get one. This helps ensure student safety and speed of dismissal. Thank you!
