‼CISD is kicking off a food drive for our new Blessings in a Bag program! We're grateful for the partnership with Snyder Resources and the support from Mitchell County. This initiative will help ensure that no student in our community goes without the food they need to thrive.
🐺The drive runs from Monday, September 16th, through Friday, September 27th. We are asking for donations of the following items:
🖤Chicken noodle soup
🖤Microwave mac and cheese
🖤Individual cereal
🖤Juice boxes/Capri Suns
🖤Chef Boyardee
🖤Individually packaged snacks like fruit snacks, peanut butter cups, pudding cups, Goldfish crackers, Rice Krispies treats, ramen noodles, beef sticks, Pop-Tarts, protein bars, and graham crackers.
🐺Donations can be dropped off at any CISD campus or at First Bank and Trust, who is also participating in this effort. If you’d like to make a monetary contribution, please visit www.snydercommunity.org and select "Blessings in a Bag" from the drop-down menu.

‼A big Thank You goes out to CISD Director of Operations Robert Oliver and the CISD School Board for purchasing a new bright red U-Max for our band program! The new golf cart replaces the well loved U-Max that had been with the band program since 2007!

‼The past couple of weekends have been busy for several Colorado FFA members as they attended the West Texas Fair and Rodeo with their show animals. Two weekends ago Sopia Ventura showed her goats and among some tough competition managed a top 10 in showmanship. Such a great accomplishment!
🐺This past weekend Lucy Foster and Kymani Martinez took their breeding rabbits. They had a great day! Kymani even gave showmanship a go though they only chose one winner. Their success is as follows: Kymani had a Best of Breed Rex. Lucy had a 1st intermediate 6 class rabbit with her Giant Chinchilla doe, 2nd junior 6 class rabbit with her Giant Flemish doe, and 8th senior 6 class rabbit with her Satin buck. Awesome job in the rabbit barn!
