This Week In Sports!

Today is a GREAT day to be a WOLF‼🐺‼ 🐺Our CISD Welding Team competed with class, determination, and resilience at a tough competition hosted by TSTC Hutto. Going up against 27 schools from across Texas—including Desoto, Killeen, Merkel, and Pasadena, to name a few—our team made an incredible showing. Out of 97 Level 1 competitors, we earned four top-10 state qualifiers!
‼Ivan Valdez, a newcomer, stunned the team with an impressive 10th-place finish, earning one of only 10 state-qualifying spots.
🔥Jayden Usener delivered a strong performance, placing 9th.
‼Andrew Bradberry kept everyone on edge with a thrilling 7th-place finish.
🔥Wyatt Wylie secured an outstanding 5th-place spot and also passed visual inspection on the Level 3 welding platform. We are now eagerly awaiting the x-ray results of his Level 3 test coupon to see if he qualifies for state at that level!
Not to be outdone, 🐺Adolfo Duenez🔥showcased his talent by advancing to the second round of the cutting competition, though he narrowly missed placing.
‼The Welding Team and Mr. Martinez would like to extend a huge THANK YOU for your support. Rest assured, our journey is far from over. We will continue to work hard and represent CISD and our community with pride as we chase our ultimate goal: STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS‼

🎨Awesome Artists🐺
This week, our Awesome Artists explored the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Together, they discussed his early life, his beliefs, and the impact of his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. The students took time to reflect on his contributions and shared ideas on how they can continue working toward equality and justice for everyone.
These talented students, ranging from Kindergarten to 4th grade, created thoughtful crafts inspired by Dr. King’s message. Their work is now displayed in the hallway for everyone to enjoy!🌟
