Colorado ISD is so excited to introduce you to the newest member of our team, Brittany Huckaby. She will serve as the District's new Communications Specialist.
Brittany Huckaby is a writer/author who believes in the power of written communication. She began her journey as a writer after writing a short story about being lost in Midland for her high school Language Arts class that was quickly picked up by a local newspaper, providing everyone in her small town with a good laugh.
Brittany’s hobby of writing turned professional in 2015 when she had her first book published. Since then, she has maintained her love of writing by publishing a second book and expanding her writing into different media and platforms, including the Colorado City Record.
Brittany grew up in Stanton, so Colorado City has always been on her map. She and her family moved to Colorado City five years ago to call Wolf Country their home.
