The Wolves Baseball team won its first playoff series in 10 years. The Wolves swept Ozona in a best of 3 series last Friday in San Angelo. In Game 1, Nick Boyd threw a complete game through 5 innings, along with an inside-the-park home run to the lead the Wolves.
In Game 2, Jordan Garza pitched a complete 7 inning game and needed less than 100 pitches to earn the victory.
Game 1: Wolves 12 - Ozona 1
Game 2: Wolves 7 - Ozona 2
The Wolves will move on to the Area Championship and take on the Hamilton Bulldogs. The 3 game series will take place in Abilene, TX at McMurry University.
Game 1: Friday, 4:30 pm
Game 2: 30 minutes after Game 1 completes.
Game 3: (If Necessary) Saturday, 10:30 am.
