For Immediate Release:

Colorado City, TX — Colorado ISD is proud to announce that Bradly “BJ” Graham has been named Offensive Coordinator for the Colorado Wolves football program. The appointment comes at the recommendation of new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Daniel Mejia, and received unanimous approval from the CISD Board of Trustees.

Coach Graham is no stranger to Wolf Nation. A proud Colorado High School graduate and Angelo State University alumnus, he previously served CISD as a coach before stepping into his current role as Director of Technology, where he has spent the past three years leading innovation and connectivity across the district. But as Graham puts it, “A vacation is always nice, but there is nothing like resting your head on that familiar pillow at home.” For him, coaching is home.

While he will continue his work in technology, Coach Graham is returning to the field to do what he was born to do; lead, mentor, and inspire student-athletes.

“Coaching has always been in my blood,” said Graham. “I love the work I do in technology, but there is something different about coaching. It's the field, the team, the energy under the lights. There’s a certain kind of goosebumps a man gets when he steps down those stairs marked GATA. Wolf Stadium isn’t just where I coach; it’s where I once suited up, where I learned the game. This is exactly where I’m meant to be.”

His decision to return to coaching is deeply rooted in both passion and purpose and in family. His wife, Kelsee, attended Colorado ISD until 7th grade and graduated from Lovelady ISD, but she made her way home to Colorado City as soon as she could. She now serves the district as our school nurse. Together, they share a deep commitment to serving our community. They are raising three future Wolves: Bradlee, Bear, and Wolf, all of whom attend CISD. “My family is supposed to be a coaching family,” Graham said. “I owe it to them to pick up my whistle again.”

The Grahams are a powerful example of what it means to invest in the place you call home, building a legacy of excellence both on and off the field. Once a Wolf, always a Wolf and Coach Graham’s return proves that the spirit of Wolf Nation never fades.

Coach Graham’s favorite quote says it all:
“Life isn't all about football, but football is all about life.”
It’s a philosophy he lives out by teaching players not only the game, but the values of discipline, perseverance, and heart.

Coach Mejia expressed his confidence in Graham’s return:
“Coach Graham is a leader on every level. His passion for this town, our kids, and the game is unmatched. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in building back the pack.”

Help us welcome back Coach BJ Graham to the sidelines—where heart, hometown pride, and purpose collide.
