During the CISD School Board meeting on February 14, several community members addressed the Board during the citizens' communications section. They expressed their concerns and requested the Board to take positive action on the agenda items related to the softball and baseball fields.
Ashley Wulfjen, Advisor, and FCCLA members Erin Foster and Kyanna Martinez shared with the Board the books they created that qualified Erin and Kyanna for the state competition. Erin's book is titled "Just a Little Confidence," and Kyanna's book is titled "It's Just Not Fair." The state competition will be taking place in Dallas this April.
The School Board has made a unanimous decision to approve the adoption of an order calling for a school-building bond election. The proposal will be on the upcoming ballot during the May elections.
The next Colorado ISD Board Meeting will be held on, Monday, March 4 at 5:30 PM. The 2024-2025 school calendar will be on the agenda.
