The National Junior Honor Society held its annual Induction Ceremony on Monday, March 6, 2023, and added eight new members.
NJHS membership is an outstanding opportunity to develop the habits and standards essential to high school, college, and career success. Members have strong grades and must meet CISD's eligibility requirements to receive an invitation to join.

2022-23 current members: Jackson Hearin (President ), Redwan Chowdhury (Vice-President),
Bryanna Munoz (Secretary), Mia Obenhaus (Treasurer), Jonathon Williams and Janiyah Yancey.
New 8th graders inducted: Niko Austin and Emma Parham will finish out this year.
New 7th graders are Karoline Hammond, Addison Harris, Davin Lara, Jayson Reyna, Kandyce Vallejo, and Isabella Wood will serve for the 2023-24 school year.
