Big Country Preps spent the week casting a net across all districts in the Big Country and showcasing their top 10 softball player picks in five categories.
Wolves Sophomore Alexis Martinez rocked the number FOUR infielder slot in the 'Big Country Preps Softball Infielder Preseason Rankings!'
Alexis slid into the Big Country softball scene last year, batting .551 with a .621 on-base percentage and a .755 slugging percentage. Alexis covers third base for the Wolves and finished last season with six doubles, nine triples, and 21 RBIs to earn herself Newcomer of the Year in the district.
Big County Preps gave accolades to Senior Kaci Rivera, pitcher, and Sophomore AJ Goodney, infielder, as Others To Watch during the 2023 season.
